This collection is a quintessential example of William Wegman's famous work with his own Weimaraner dogs. In this portfolio, Wegman uses his creativity and sense for the abstract to turn Weimaraners into the symbols which we use to write.
This portfolio of three photogravure prints (Letters, Numbers, and Punctuation) is limited to one hundred copies. The plates were hand-wiped and printed on handcrafted paper made especially for the edition at The Cardinal Mill in Moravia. The type is printed letterpress.
Binding: White handmade wove paper portfolio with black ribbon ties. Black velvet-lined clamshell box, with title and author gilt on blind-tooled black morocco spine label.
