Description
Though she may be less known today than other artists of that time, Höch was a creative powerhouse and an early feminist artist, sparking conversations with her extraordinary work which continue today. Yet, the very ideas which make her so compelling today, led to her under-appreciation by her contemporaries. It is our staunch belief that Höch should be celebrated and remembered, and so we present this collection, titled ‘NOT A FAD’, (a phrase which she employed in her artwork), with the confidence that her work will endure.
The portfolio includes the following:
– A portfolio envelope, to store and protect your prints. Features genuine engraving on heavy textured archival stock.
– A large broadside, printed letterpress, which includes text from the 1918 ‘Dada Manifesto’ by Tristan Tzara, a roadmap to the world of Dada.
– Five prints, archival pigment prints on heavy acid free stock. They are in every way museum-quality reproductions. Each is 8” by 10”.
